“ There are moments that stand out from the chaos of everyday as shining beacons” — Mihaly Csikzent-mihalyi
The ultimate desire of our human experience is to capture these moments. At times we succeed in capturing them, but in the process, we cage them to satisfy our craving to return to them again and again.
This is where we miss the mark. Our crave for that moment in the time past not only leave us with the angst of not experiencing them again, it also causes us to miss the new moments that are right in front of us!
What if our pursuit for these moments are the very cause of our complacency?
What if the best way to capture these moments so that we do not lose them is to just let go of them?
Perhaps that’s what moments are meant for…to be completely and fully let go!
This is the challenge is front of us.
“to engineer Ecstasy without the crave (of addiction to altered states)…
to prompt catharsis without the cringe (of indulgent self-help)…
to create community without the cult (of unreliable leaders and followers)…”
