The latest evidence of Trump’s “me, me, me” mindset is apparent in the presidential challenge coin, which was unveiled last week. The coins are typically handed out to deserving members of the military by the Commander-in-Chief, and while they undergo some small aesthetic changes between administrations, they all tend to look similar. President Trump decided to get “personally involved” in the remaking of his own coin, according to The Washington Post, and it’s fair to say it doesn’t resemble anyone else’s. Gone is the Latin phrase “E Pluribus Unum,” which means “out of many, one,” and the traditional presidential seal is out, too. In their place? Donald J. Trump’s name three times, along with his famous slogan, “Make America Great Again.” According to the Post, Trump & Co. are considering passing out the coins—which are gold instead of silver or copper—at campaign rallies, in addition to distributing them to service members. Their value on Social is negligible, however, with “Presidential Coin” pulling just 23 percent positives over the past three days. –Alex Shultz
