Many years ago, I had the privilege of working closely with David Deida in building his reach both on the internet and in some of the largest live workshops he’d ever held.
As a team, we had huge successes, up to 200 people per event.
And then tragedy struck.
I put almost an entire hotel on Miami Beach on my credit card, reserving the ballroom and a vast number of “guaranteed rooms” which is always part of the deal…
… and virtually no one signed up!
I was facing financial ruin.
Let’s just say I was taking it pretty hard.
And David said something to me then in my desolation that “there come times in a man’s life when everything that seemed so important suddenly is not important at all.”
He was opening a doorway for me to see past the financials and discover what other lessons were there for me.
What he said that day always stayed close to me.
We each need to stay awake to these moments because they can be the edges of hell-holes where we slip into the past and fall static and dead-inside.
Or they can be doorways to whole new levels of inspired living in the future.
Today’s teachers in the Inspired Man Summit bring 3 unique perspectives on how to connect with what is true for you RIGHT NOW.
And how to stay awake to where you need to go next in life.

Our first teacher, JuanPa Barahuna is a master of helping people connecting with their “wildness.” His jungle and tropical retreats awaken in the “inner beast”—a too often untapped source of joy and wisdom.
Fittingly, however, JuanPa is lost in the Balinese jungles today, and we will make this recording available to everyone next week!
I guarantee: he’s worth the wait.
JuanPa is a dynamo of power, joy, focus and life-enthusiasm—a long, loooooooooooog way from his dark past growing up in the hard streets of Central America.

Our second session is with a personal favorite of mine: a man who has been on the frontlines for decades of political protest and humor.
It seems almost quaint or ancient or impossible to combine political protest and humor because protest has become so humorless these days!
But Steve carries on gallantly!
Steve Beahrman says “It’s time to take humor seriously, and seriousness humorously,” and we explore what has driven him to keep his laughter and commitment to a better world strong for so long.

In our third session, I talk to Andy Drish, a Midwestern boy who made his first millions before 30 by helping others do the same, sold his company and is now setting off for a year of personal exploration.
I have known Andy for nearly a third of his life and have watched with admiration how he creates the disciplines and practices that have forged his inspired life.
Andy says, “I believe entrepreneurship is the best tool for personal growth and creating immense value for the world” and
“I believe the new ‘American Dream’ is having the ability to work wherever and whenever you want to. The notion that ‘work’ only happens between 8-5 in a grey cubicle is complete nonsense.”

Both of those statements that could easily have come from my mouth and both express part of why I created this Summit in the first place.
To bring you great wisdom from men living inspired lives!
To open your own gateways of inspiration!
To spark you into a new phase in your own life!
