The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide will play for the title on Monday after each school pulled an upset in the semifinal round. The Bulldogs (13-1) were conference champions after crushing Auburn back on Dec. 2, then knocked out the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners this week in a double-overtime classic, 54-48. Georgia was at one point down 31-14 to Oklahoma but stormed all the way back and won the game thanks to a Sony Michel 27-yard touchdown run. The 12-1 Crimson Tide, meanwhile, suffered its only loss of the season to Auburn but took out the No. 1 Clemson Tigers on Monday in a 2017 championship rematch, 24-6. The Tigers could muster only 188 yards of total offense, and Alabama is finally healthy on both sides of the ball for the first time in a while. Twitter would prefer to see Georgia win it all, though—over the last three days, the Bulldogs have a 61 percent positive score, while the Crimson Tide has a 51 percent positive score. –Alex Shultz
