A mission goes longer than planned in ‘Fully Dilated’
Last time on Star Trek: Lower Decks, the Cerritos was trying to help two different species find peace. This seemed to be going well at first, but becomes tougher when one creature disappeared. Mariner and an ensign tried to find them, but the ensign tended to jump to conclusions rather quickly. This made the peace talks sour for a while, until something surprising ended up happening. As this episode came to a close, the peace talks resumed and a treaty was signed. Now a simple mission takes longer than expected in ‘Fully Dilated’. I was able to watch this episode and here is my thoughts on it.

It’s a pre-warp society undercover Girls Trip!

Mariner, Tendi and T’Lyn get to go on a mission together at the start of this episode. They are heading to a pre-warp planet to retrieve something and don’t plan on being there long. Boimler and Rutherford end up dropping something, which could force this mission to go longer than expected. Tendi makes some bold moves on this planet, ones that could make this mission go south fast. Thankfully they are able to leave before the people on this planet discover who they really are. As this episode comes to a close something wonderful happens to two people.
