NON-ASSUMED RESPONSIBILITY
I know she is upset because of what I said. It does not matter. Anger is a sign of losing control. So long as I have good reason, good intentions and mindfulness with effective communication I am free to live my life. Much as a stone thrown up had no good intentions going up nor does the stone have bad intentions when it comes down. It is mainly the opinions of others which define good and bad. I can always choose not to recognize my hurt.
NON-OBSERVABLE MENTALITY
The concept of Biocentrism is very interesting. The case very compelling. Observation with consciousness is at the heart of Biocentrism theory. Much as it can sound like philosophy — there is much science to it.
In fact, from my reading quantum mechanics is its largest identifiable supporter. There are arguments to build a supercomputer here in Texas based on quantum mechanics — so the word theory in the context of science does not translate to speculative fiction. Many use the word “theory” in the context of unproven idea someone just thought of. This article will not use it within the context of most people — so take note.
The book I am reading is “Biocentrism — How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe”. Robert Lanza is the author and is one of the most respected scientists in the world.
According to Landa, for anything to take definitive form it requires 1) An Observer, 2) Observer Awareness (i.e. consciousness), & 3) Observer Presence. This is the basic concept for showing unity on the concept that atoms are both wave & particle (i.e. the double slit experiment which measures photons). (2)
I know this sounds science. It is. But it is important to note because scientifically speaking we live with things called emotions. Emotions require all three (3) of these characteristics to exist.
We must 1) Observe an emotion, 2) Become conscious of the emotion and 3) Be present at the time of feeling the emotion.
These requirements make me pose the question, “What happens if we choose not to presently observe past events that made us feel the way we do now?”
THE CHOICE OF OBSERVATION
For a long time, you heard the argument that things exist independently. To debate if our moon is in orbit if you don’t look at it seems like a waste of time. I’m not suggesting the moon is not there. The moon is there when you don’t look at it but it’s not because it’s simply there. I argue it’s there because the moon has a constant observer.
This is not true for your emotions.
I gather this from the principles of Biocentrism which unequivocally state you must observe your emotional distress & be present in the observation for the distress to exist.
According to the principles of Biocentrism I conclude if you choose to be unaware of something that can only be observed by you — it disappears.
This is not speculation — this conclusion is correlated to very strong scientific data cited in the Landa’s book.
DEPRESSION DOES NOT NEED TO EXIST
In Viktor Frankl’s book, “A Man’s Search For Meaning” there is a harrowing example of a man’s self-imposed purpose for living through a concentration camp.
It will forever be one of my favorite books. For in this moment, the man who would become the pioneer of Lagotherapy — a groundbreaking psychiatric treatment process for extreme trauma; created purpose from his suffering.
Frankl often described those who found purpose during their holocaust experience as grateful for their experiences. (3) Think of that. Who could be grateful for enduring a holocaust?
This scientifically documented experience (Frankl — as that’s what he made his holocaust experience into by choice) puts a lot into perspective. The people who found meaning in one of history’s most atrocious experiences did not have superpowers. They were human. They were like you and I. People who found purpose in the holocaust refused to observe emotional states of anxiety, depression or sadness. What non-traumatized holocaust endurers share with us is the human capacity to refuse to observe negative emotional states.
Surprisingly, negative emotional states didn’t exist for these fortunate few despite the reality of their suffering.
SUFFERING WITH PURPOSE DOES EXIST
This writing does not argue suffering, hardship or adversity does not exist. What this article argues is tangible things must be observed to exist. All things require your presence. This article also argues it is entirely within your control to choose what feelings you want to observe.
My position is you can choose not to observe depression, sadness, or anxiety.
I am not arguing pain does not exist but we know from soldiers who experience traumatic injuries they often report feeling nothing at time of extreme injury in the battlefield. (7) The reason according to Dr. Ramkumar is strong emotions block pain which is called stress-induced analgesia. Since feelings are completely internal, any feeling can vanish instantly if you choose to consciously not observe it. Conversely, the choice to observe other strong emotions can be so powerful it blocks physical pain sensors.
My support is also bolstered by the scientific research cited in the theory of Biocentrism — supported by one of the most respected scientists in the world. Not just the MD Dr. Ramkumar. Just saying.
I personally can attest to not feeling anything when my hand split open from a face mask during an intense football play or being stabbed. Personal experience proves this point too.
How Refusing To Observe The Negative Illustrates
Present Situation — “You are going through the most painful break up imaginable. They cheated on you and took your child.”
Present Response — “I have such clarity now. I can see what is in front me the whole time and chose to ignore. My child will always return to love which is genuine. I will teach my child what it is to have the virtue of temperance. I’m not worried about it.”
What This Response Does:
· It shows resilience. People admire people who can sustain what appears to be the impossible. You increase your endurance and stamina with this choice.
· It practices acceptance. We often cannot control things beyond our responses. We can only accept the uncontrollable. We spare ourselves so much turmoil when we accept what cannot be controlled.
· It increases your virtue. We can choose any virtue we want within the context of a situation. There will always be unique virtues to practice in situations. They range from kindness (when you are nice to someone who is bad to you) to compassion (showing empathy to someone undeserving).
Three Ways To Practice Observation (Use Them)
1. Ask Yourself What Can You Learn. Look for tangible lessons in your pain. Ask yourself what you can learn. There is no such thing as an opportunity without problems. Opportunities are nothing more than emergencies which require solutions.
2. Remind Yourself Who Observes Your Feelings. Your feelings are inside you. They come from inside your body. That means you get to choose to observe what feelings you feel. Your feelings do not exist anywhere but inside of you. You can always choose to observe another feeling — you cannot be angry and happy simultaneously.
3. Become Curious Not Angry. Choose a desire to know the truth. Avoid the choice of becoming angry when you don’t know the truth. Anger is a sign of losing control. Curiosity is a sign of determination. Become determined, do not become out of control.
The Value of This Philosophy
· This allows you to challenge possible misconception and reinforces positive assumptions over negative assumptions. (4)
· You can always choose to observe your feelings. If you don’t observe something which can only be observed by you evidence suggests it instantly disappears. (2)
· Learning the truth before acting makes you pause before reacting which reduces stress and makes you feel more relaxed. (6)

The concept I teach in this article is free. Some of my personal stories are not free of charge as everything costs something. The techniques I discuss in this article I use. The purpose of reading this is to help people learn that feelings are largely a matter of self-observation.
If you are feeling pain from your relationship, it’s critical you read this. There is compelling evidence to suggest all feelings require your conscious observation. You do not have to observe a negative feeling if you don’t want to. It is within your power to observe something else. Read above to learn how!
