Here’s a hard truth.
The one no one is probably telling you. Most men aren’t failing at dating because they are not good enough.
It’s not because they are unattractive or because they don’t have money or they are not making their minds known to some women.
They have looks, they are not poor, they have good manners and they are confident.
The reason these men are failing us is very simple and it’s not emphasized enough by dating “experts” throughout the world.
The reason is…they are failing because of this one silent killer:
“They don’t lead”
Because men are not taking the lead.
Yeah…..you read that correctly, everything about relationships or dating is taking the lead.
That’s it…that’s the brutal truth.
What Do I Mean by “Leading”?
Leading doesn’t mean “controlling”. It doesn’t mean assuming the position of a boss that aggressively barks orders and enforces them.
It means being intentional about what you want, being clear, decisive and precise. It means being a man with a plan emotionally, mentally, and in action.
Women no matter how beautiful, brilliant, interesting, influential and rich they are have a need they are craving for, that’s a leader—a man who can lead them.
This leading is not about dominance, it’s about direction. Women are wired to respond to men’s masculinity leadership.
But how are most men responding?
They overthink, they hesitate, they stall and they are always asking for permission and validation which always work against them with women.
How Most Men Self-Sabotage Without Knowing
- They text: “Hello, what are you up to?” Instead of “Hey, there’s a new restaurant downtown, let’s try it out at 4:00pm today”.
- They wait for the “perfect time” to make a move—instead of just taking the shot in confidence.
- They overthink and overanalyze every emojis she sends instead of courageously leading the conversation forward.
There are two dangers associated with men who hesitate in love instead of leading:
- They end up being friendzoned
Or
- They are end up in what I call “Approval trap”
This is where you wait continually for her validation. You will always need her validation before you do anything or make any move. And it means you have lost your power to lead. It’s usually:
- Unattractive
- Weak
- It makes you forgettable
- And the worst of all, you will lose your self worth
Here’s How to Fix It Fast:
1. Start Making Decisions
Instead of asking her what she wants, start suggesting. Start taking initiative and leading it.
Instead of asking or waiting how she feels, start expressing how you feel first and thereafter analyze her own response. Leadership is sexy and attractive, it shows clarity, confidence and assurance
2. Stop Overexplaining Yourself
Always giving explanations to people when they ask or don’t is a weakness. You don’t have to justify everything you say. If you want to take her out, say it. If you’re not available, say it.
The more you explain every time, the kids you’re seeking approval for and that’s a big turn off.
3. Set Boundaries or Standard
Women always appreciate men that know what they want. Set up some set of things you expect from her and enforce it. High value men always have standards they enforce.
And they are not usually desperate for attention. They know what they want, and if they don’t get it, they walk away. Set some values you expect her to meet. That’s how to lead a woman.
If the values or boundaries don’t align, walk away.
Final Thoughts:
Dating isn’t a mystery. It’s a mirror. If you’re constantly failing with women, it’s not just about them, it’s about what you’re projecting.
Stop waiting for permission to be the woman she desires. Stop worrying if she likes you or not. Stop overthinking if you’re her spec or not.
Start leading!
With courage, confidence and assurance start leading her to get what you want from her. And watch out how everything will change.
