The hypnotic borage comes pouring at us day in and day out. Mostly in. I feel exhausted by the endless stream of repetitious newness as if I am only to consume and never to produce. So easy this trap has been laid. So easily I am caught in its snare.
To trust the words and images of the ever-selling market is to fall into the guise of the dark magician playing his flute to enslave the mind. This type of bondage is so well played that its victims still believe they are the ones in control.
Right they are as they choose based on motivations that have been seeded deep in their minds before they could even speak. Flicker rates that programmed through the television programs before the program’s words were programmable in the minds of the living, breathing programs.
No wonder it was first called the World Wide Web for they knew we would voluntarily become caught in its sticky binds. Truly brilliant is the puppeteer who compels his puppets to pay for the very strings that control their every move. Moves that lead them only towards the eternal servitude of more and a lashing out toward anyone who brings the great razor’s edge of consciousness liberated.
How scary it would be to think for one’s self. To be exiled from the common thread of societal movement. To miss a step is to fall behind by miles. Rapid paces of ratted races.
But don’t fret my dear one. The cycle only repeats. Just as one direction of travel eventually leads to the same place on the Earth, perhaps if we unplug and find our inner source of stillness we will ultimately be met with the passing times of repetitive newness.
Truly, we will have arrived sooner than the throws of the socio-digital madness, and we will have then set the trend. When all this chaos has been exercised, we will still be true to the point in which it will all return—the center point.
Lonely the road may be when the masses are marching opposed. But look ahead, and you will see the cliff’s edge towards which they move in droves.
Step from the mobbish masses and liberate yourself. You will surely find others like you who have chosen the road overgrown. Friendships will be harvested, and depth will be met in ways that only those removed from the slings of the great hypnosis can truly know.
And I will meet you there.
