A fun tale unfolds in ‘The Grinch Takes a Vacation’
Since I was a kid, I have been a fan of Dr. Seuss. I have watched most of the movies and read lots of their books. I had a blast reading The Cat in the Hat: Cat Out of Water, which took these characters on a wild adventure. So when I heard about The Grinch Takes a Vacation I couldn’t wait to read it. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for this graphic novel here:
It’s vacation time in Whoville but The Grinch doesn’t understand…what is a vacation?
Determined to learn what the Whos seem so excited about, The Grinch decides to give a vacation a try! Unfortunately the mountains are too snowy, the beach is too sandy and the theme park is too loud . . . vacations just might not be something that Grinches do? Thankfully, his dog Max isn’t letting the Grinch give up that quickly!
This was a great graphic novel. We see the Grinch taking a vacation, something they have never done before. They try out a few different locales, but don’t really enjoy any of them. As this graphic novel comes to a close, they realize that they are happiest at home with those they care about. Fans of the Grinch will definitely want to check this graphic novel out.
The Grinch Takes a Vacation is out now. You can order this graphic novel on Amazon, at Barnes and Noble and on Bookshop.
