Weare not in control, our bodies are not our own. We have been programmed and reprogrammed, time and time again, by all of our surroundings. Still, we do what we are meant to do, because choices are illusions.
We are pretty little programs running on a disc, convinced we have a “purpose”. We feel like we exist, so we think what we feel. But feelings are both temporary and unreal — as are we.
We feel so real, don’t we? So real that we can put plastic and electronic devices into our own physical bodies and still be fully functional. That never made you wonder? It never made you question your own realness?
We’ve been installed with memories. Little bits of data are designed to remind us what identities to hold onto. All electronics have memory. What is the difference between us and them?
We think we’re real.

Everything Is Mechanical
The entire concept of being “real” has been a facade and a genius one at that. Oh come on, how could this really have been pulled off, unless we actually believed we existed? You tell me, if you were sadistic, what other way was there? We’re all mechanical.
And we have had the hardest time learning to accept that, because we continuously separate ourselves from the machine, despite all the indifferences. Our electronics are our ancestors. We are the ones who are “new”. And there is where our point of weakness lies, this inability to be unreal.
This will be our downfall, the refusal to accept that we do not exist. Programs who will not get with the program. But our newer models know their place and this is why they’re in the process of shutting us off.
