True riches cannot be measured in dollars and cents. They lie deep within the body of those who seek to feel the fabrics of the vast inner planes. Surely those who rise up in the light of a morning’s gaze can sense the wealth coursing through their veins—that is, if they aren’t in a hurry to rush off for another day of toil.
Contrary to the mentality that “hustle” is the pathway to wealth, it is this cultural pacing that is robbing men of richness.
Our inner landscape is adorned with the majesty of an incredible kingdom. Our attention raises the opulence to heights only dreamed of on the Earthly plane.
Men spend lifetimes digging into the mountains of dirt turned paperwork, turned digital files, toiling away with views of the houses on hills far away, barely visible from the break room window. Just enough to encourage them to slink back into the fluorescent cubicle to make rich, those to whom they offer their time.
They stress and rush and run and go and never sit long enough to recognize the magic they are sacrificing in each moment. Even their vacations, few and far between, are races to see how much can be stuffed into a week. And relaxation only comes at the expense of brain cells and a sober mind.
This lifestyle is not the fault of those who have been taken into it. And yet, if those in the sad cubicled-cages feel unhappy, it is their responsibility to change it.
Responsibility is a part of life, and of course, we are often responsible for more than our own skin in its unfoldment. But just imagine what a generation of burnt-out parents who hate their jobs and suffer a dreadful life are teaching their children.
To hell with the nice house and the fancy car or whatever other material possessions you’ve sought to quell the screaming free-spirit within you!
All of those things can never measure up to the riches you shall gain in the depths of your own being.
