‘Watchmen Chapter 2’ is out now on Blu-Ray

I liked the Watchmen live action film when it came out. It told an action packed story and took viewers on an insane journey. Watchmen Chapter 1 was wonderful and had parts of this story that I hadn’t heard before. When I heard Chapter 2 was coming out on Blu-Ray I hoped I would get to check it out. I was able to get a review copy of this movie and here is my thoughts on it.

You can read the plot for Watchmen Chapter 2 here:

Former heroes have seemingly become targets. The Comedian has been murdered, the all-powerful Dr. Manhattan has been exiled to Mars, Ozymandias survived an assassination attempt and the outlaw-vigilante Rorschach has been arrested. Suspicious of the events ensnaring their former colleagues, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre are spurred out of retirement to investigate. As they grapple with personal ethics, inner demons and a society turned against them, they race the clock to uncover a deepening plot that might trigger global nuclear war.

There is a lot going on in this film. Rorschach is in prison, and many people are looking forward to seeing them again. We also see that Dr. Manhattan has completely abandoned Earth and appears to be at peace on Mars. Nite Owl and Silk Spectre try to move past this, but to Nite Owl something just doesn’t feel right about everything that is going on. They decide to break someone out, and discover who is behind all the stuff that is happening to their old team. Silk Spectre pays a visit to Dr. Manhattan and pleads for his help, but instead she learns a shocking secret. As this movie comes to a close, life for these people will never be the same.
