You weren’t made to live with limitations, so stop with the excuses.

“One of the greatest regrets of old people, is that they didn’t take enough chances.”
– Dr. James L. Zirkle
I was recently watching a video online and the theme of it was “living limitless.” It was focusing on those that live life to the fullest, holding nothing back. As I watched it, I could feel my heart racing just watching them push the limits on life. It made me think, “What is life if we have not pushed the boundaries and given ourselves permission to live outside the box of what is commonly known as daily living?”
Mark Twain said, “The two most important days in a person’s life are the day they are born and then the day they discover why.” The WHY of our life will never truly be found inside the confines of one’s comfort zone.
We all have a box we live life in. In that box, we find our family, friends and the normal rituals of daily life. We go to work in that box and we find ourselves settling for whatever happens. But I believe that life was designed for something so much bigger. We were not created to live in a box and be bound to accept just what comes our way.
How do I know this? Good question! The fact that you can dream, reveals the power of imagination which is the launching pad to the greatest discoveries throughout history. I believe that the box we live in is the one we settled for. It’s time to stop settling and start dreaming! Take your dreams and bring them to life by first writing them down and then give yourself permission to run with them. Yes, I said give yourself permission and STOP seeking it from others.
So make the jump, take the leap into the unknown NOW and don’t look back!

The cricket test … You put a cricket in a large jar and he’ll jump out. Put a covet on the jar and it will jump repeatedly and hit the top. At some point you can take the top off and the cricket will only jump as high as the lid. It’s been trained.
Sadly, that’s what happens to a lot of people and most of the time they place themselves in those boxes.
Well said! I truly believe that a life defined by a box is in effect to the person. Many try and blame everything else BUT the buck stops with us. We have to take responsibility for our life!
Thanks for sharing that =)
