After a certain point in life, everything begins to feel fine.
So many things that once affected us deeply — things that used to feel overwhelming or incredibly important — slowly start to feel normal. What once felt heavy no longer holds the same weight. There comes a moment when you realize that many of those things were never truly necessary to begin with. Big issues shrink into small ones, and situations that once consumed your thoughts start to feel insignificant.
You reach a stage where it simply feels like everything is okay. As if nothing is really wrong in this world.
Over time, you begin to understand that everyone has their own point of view. Everyone lives within their own circumstances, their own situations, and their own lives. What is right for one person may not be right for another, and what feels wrong to someone may not be wrong for everyone else.
Each life is different. Every perspective is different. For each person, right and wrong carry different meanings. That is why, in a way, everything is right. Everyone carries their own responsibilities, their own limitations, and their own struggles.
This phase of life — where everything starts to feel settled, where things stop mattering the way they used to — feels like the most beautiful phase to me. It is a phase of emotional balance, acceptance, and quiet understanding.
I often find myself wondering why this phase arrived so late in my life. Or perhaps it arrived early. For me, it feels late, because the things that seem so small and unimportant today are the same things I once spent so much time overthinking and reacting to.
I reacted intensely to moments that now feel undeserving of that energy. Looking back, I realize how much emotional weight I gave to things that did not truly deserve it.
Yet, maybe that was necessary. Maybe reaching this phase requires going through all of that first.
And now, here I am — at a point where everything feels lighter, calmer, and simply… okay.
