Who besides me, is LD, ADD, ED, bipolar, codependent & hyperactive? I know I am. Are you?
After graduate school I worked as an in-school suspension counselor with a predictable group of trouble makers: boys.
Obvious question: why was my classroom filled with boys?
Answering that question has kept me on the course of tracking trauma to understand compulsions and addictions, including the universal PTSD response of boys who have learned from the world that boys are not good enough to be loved unless……..
If you have been labeled with an emotional disorder, listen to the part of you which knows better. You are loving energy which is growing and shaping itself. This inherent wisdom is finding its way into claiming dominion over whatever happened to you that still speaks words of isolation and exclusion.
Be the open, kind, being which takes all forms. When you understand your true nature, your infinite source, the love of being resumes being value-able. Your value exists now, in this moment, as understanding that names and categories serve a purpose, but the purpose is not to isolate. Rather our purpose is to join lovingly.
Learn to love your body for its unique and infinite ability to become something it’s never been before. Learn to love your feelings for their unique and infinite ability to become what they have not been before. Choose to love your thinking and use it to become what you have not been before. And all the while you are choosing loving connection.
