John Finch’s father committed suicide when John was only 11 years old, but it wasn’t until John had disappeared into alcohol and other self-destructive behaviors that he saw just how deep his “father wound” was.
In knowing how many kids are growing up without fathers, John felt he couldn’t sit by and watch a generation grow up with the same father wounds he experienced. Now he’s on a quest to complete a documentary about the lives of men who grew up without fathers, in an attempt to help dads realize how much their children need them.
Watch the beautiful, moving trailer for The Father Effect, and if you feel moved, please donate to the project to help complete the full documentary.
Readers, how do you think we can change the trend of children being raised without fathers?
What do you imagine are the factors that cause fathers to be alienated from their children?
The accessories would include wallets, cufflinks, planners, laptop bags, watches and perfumes.
Father’s day is exactly as much as popular as mother’s day.
I don’t know a man any more pure and pleasing to the heart of God than Pastor Carlos
