Just try to imagine how much time it took to create this remix of Jay-Z’s notorious single, 99 Problems, constructed of news footage of our President and his opponent Mitt Romney
Although this remix is obviously pro-Obama—with a lot of digs at Mitt Romney—it doesn’t spare either candidate from critique.
What do you think of the issues raised in this remix? How about the fact that the audio is mixed so as to create swear words from the President? Is that disrespectful?
Extremely Clever and Excellently Funny. I can’t say it’s either Pro or Against either Obama or Romney, but with Obama’s racial origins and it is a rap song, I suspect it’s content is aimed at specific groups and minorities – and even hits a bulls eye. As for it being disrespectful – that argument went out the window in the 1770’s when that new fangled technology of Multiplate Aquatint and print, which made the work of James Gillray infamous – and made it clear that those in power and/or in Office were not sacred cows.
