There will always be people out there who think your dreams are too big and not based in reality…
The question is, are you seriously going to let them stop you?
Hell, I’ve literally lost count of a number of people who laughed in my face and told me I was crazy after divulging what I planned to do. A bunch of them even straight up told me: “YOU WILL FAIL.”
And honestly, there was a time where I would have believed them. It’s because I doubted myself, my skills, and my own capabilities. These people were simply mirrors of my own insecurities.
What’s important to remember when other people start cramping up your dream space with their own doubt, is that they’re only telling you that “you can’t do something” because once upon a time someone told them they couldn’t do something, too…except they actually believed and listened.
I sure as shit didn’t. Nope, not this guy, and now guess who built his own business helping other people, doing what he loves, lives where he wants, all the while traveling the world rocking a giant shit-eating grin that spans from ear to ear the entire time while doing it? Take a wild guess…ME.
The feeling of disappointment when an idea you have doesn’t pan out in exactly the way you thought it would is temporary, but man, that slow painful burn of regret and wondering what “could’ve been,” permanently scars the soul.

Haters are going to hate, and the ain’ters are going to ain’t. The doers?…Well, they fucking do, and the question is, which one are you?
Seriously, imagine a world where all the big dreamers just gave up and threw in the towel on their ideas the first instance of a hater walking by and shitting on their dreams.
My guess would be that the majority of the inventions shaping our modern world would have never been born into existence. The airplane, automobile, cell phone, the internet, social media and a kazillion others ring a bell?
Now consider just how many of these big dreamers all were told exactly the same thing: your dreams are too big, you’re being unrealistic and YOU WILL FAIL.
Personally, I like imagining the reaction the Wright Brothers (inventors of the airplane) received the first time they told people they were creating a machine that would one day allow humans to soar in the skies like birds.
See here’s the kicker…no one else really understands how much your soul truly craves something except you, and nobody else will feel the sting of regret if you don’t try and live it either.

My advice…
Don’t waste your life away planning for some other day that may or may not even come…Because I’m telling you, those shoulda, coulda, woulda monsters eat your freaking brain.
When it comes to your dreams, go hard or go home and never give up. Keep following your True North homies and don’t ever look back.
