I can appreciate when someone says, “it’s not about the money,” but I can also call bulls**t 99% of the time. That’s your fear talking. That’s you giving yourself an excuse to play small and feel ok about it.
It IS about the money… Money is our primary communicator and indicator of a value proposition.
The problem isn’t money, it’s the way you think money will make you feel, and it’s the story you’ve been told about money…
You equate the money with freedom. With success. With “making it.”
“When I make xyz, I’ll be content.”
Maybe, but most likely…NOT. Here’s why:
You’re chasing the money and not the feeling.
When you can embrace the feeling and thought of contentment, gratitude, abundance, and success NOW, you come to the realization that the THING you THOUGHT was equated to success is nothing more than a tool…
And that tool is used in a way to do a couple things:
-Communicate Value
-Make you more of what you already are
So you SHOULD want to make more money, as it means your souls purpose is finding a leverage point with humanity.
But understand that the money in and of itself won’t fulfill your lack… it’s just a tool, not the feeling.
So you’ll overspend. It will never be enough. You’ll keep trying to make more only to spend more and find yourself in the neverending quest of trying to figure out why you’re empty.
On the flip side, should you operate out of a state of gratitude, abundance, appreciation, generosity… money will MULTIPLY all of those things, as it’s…. you guessed it… a tool.
It wasn’t until I healed my relationship with printed paper that I began to understand that wealth is an internal perspective that is multiplied externally…… same goes for poverty.
You want to make more money? Stop worrying so much about money.
Focus on how you bring about value to the world in a way that brings about monetary exchange.
Value your time over money.
My clients make more money because we pivot belief systems and back that up with habits that allow for proper prioritization of value.
Respect the tool that money is and remove the fear.
Embrace that, as a tool, money doesn’t care who makes it… and your response internally will dictate your wealth externally.
It has nothing to do with arrogance and everything to do with appreciation.
Friend, change your perspective and you’ll change your position.
Don’t allow yourself to be emotionally triggered, allow your mind to be foundationally transformed.
Everything you want is possible, you just need to get out of your own way…. and most often, we need some help to do that.
Go create your best life, whatever that looks like.
