Our thoughts, words, and actions change the energy field of ourselves and so many others around us. Energy can be mutated by the rearrangement of our perceptions and our focal points of projection. Every aspect of life is interconnective. When we are angry and we open our mouths and spew the internal frustration, the external world changes its course for that moment and maybe beyond. When we call that person a name and the stamp of shame becomes their silent label to try to hide our personal smallness. We negate when we denied a person, place or thing of honor for being alive. We negate when we enslave another with a false sense of power.
We even negate what we hate, we become lost in the pool of doubt and confusion. In that state of doubt and confusion, we begin to become powerless and disconnected from our source energy. When we are happy and fulfilled, we are connected by our feelings of wanting to join the human race and connected by returning to our source energy. We came to this planet to be united in the cause of being human beings on this beautiful planet.
I just finished a visit from a close friend. We were united in memory and we are twin flames of creativity and visions of changing the world through spiritual principles. We have worked together in community, striving for unity amongst each other as human beings for many years now. It all started when by mistake a recording of my music was given to her. She wanted to know who I was and she found out I was her daughter’s friend who has just recorded the music engineered by the daughter’s husband. Small world and a meeting waiting to happen. There are no mistakes in life.
We met because she wanted to put a face to the voice and to our surprise our energies immediately connected as old souls. After we talked for hours, we decided we were to be long-term spiritual friends. We had strong visions of the importance of community and family…the importance of being creative in our living and being. We spent many hours meeting every Thursday night, speaking our truths within conversations of a solution. With both of us being elders in our community we wanted to use our skills to improve and elevate our families and the people of our community.
Every Thursday night, for over a year, we spoke of our experiences of relationships, finding balance within the mind, body, and soul, learning how to create balance within our behaviors of being either divine feminine and the divine masculine or both because they both live within us all of us. We talked about how we learn to be sacred in our everyday living.
She shared with me her medicine and I shared with her mine. We spoke of the old ways and how this old ways were fitting into our lives, in these modern times. We spoke of how ceremony and rituals were cornerstones to being grounded in the sky and the earth. Our souls met in the center of our sacredness of purpose. We both wanted social and societal change to occur. We wanted to use the alchemy of the old ways to invigorate the challenging days of these modern times.
The joining of our stories allowed us to heal together. We told each other our stories, exchanged experiences, rituals, writing, bookmaking, sound therapy and sound healings of the soul. I needed to hear my story as I shared it with her, as she needed to hear an echo of her story within my story and we sat in the echoes of our histories and breathed in the manifestations of releasing toxic storylines of broken, unfinished dreams. We learned to be truthfully honest with a peaceful clarity. We learn to show up without displaying our old reactionary behavior. We gradually became proactive. We realized we could not use behavior that tended to negate and not elevate.
We began to learn to live “organically” and allow the story of life to unfold itself in its own graceful time. We signed up for the journal of “becoming” who we needed to be. The answers always came in a trusted time.
We learn to listen with open, compassionate ears. We learned to honor each other’s human stories, male and female.
As we met and talked today after more than four years of being on the journey, we had to say congratulations to each other’s individual and our collective stories. We both had evolved, united in a cause.
After working to together as a unit, along with another talented person on board, being the backbone of a non-profit, it seems we have completed our goals of supporting the sacredness of each individual human voice in this universe. It did not look like the original plan, but it became itself in all of its unfolding and much more than we could have visioned. We became more aware of the value of each one of our individual gifts.
We became more adapted to making better decisions to support ourselves and our gifts. We learned the art of conversation with each other and gained a universal language which was neither male or female. We learn a language of compassion which was supportive of creating change that empowered everyone in the process, even in spite of the irony of our individual stories. We created a different type of community. Needless to say, it did not unfold without challenges. The parts of our lives that were challenging became the perfect stepping stones to elevate the building of a strong foundation for personal and a societal success story.
So, to sit together while eating sliced fruit, eating homemade bread and drinking Kombuchas, it was a sense of success to have moved from a state of surviving to a state of thriving. We have learned to trust the journey of our process. We have learned to not blame, but to be understanding. We have learned not to lose faith and how to roll with the punches. We have learned to roll like dancers react to a fall. We learned to never lie there but to always get up.
We had all started with histories of personal, physical and sexual abuse but now we have futures of celebration, chances to possibly change the world for the betterment of all. To me, that is the power of transformation. It starts with forgiveness of yourself and others and then next create a visioning of evolution and healing. It is only then can we open the portal of transformation. We can only do it with evolutionary, societal unity of being love in action. We can change it one day at a time and one step at a time. We just have to say “YES” to life.
It is time for all of us to be transformed. It is a time in our human history, a time when we have the opportunity to be born again from the caterpillar to a butterfly. It is the only way to change the alchemy of our universe, so we may have a new art of living based on rituals of solution and healing peace.
Elevate, Not Negate.
