Check out the bracket to see where your favorite landed and join us, starting tomorrow, for non-stop combat on Komplicated.com's Facebook page starting at noon PST! All fights are staged on "thunderdome" conditions — enclosed space, no outside objects or interference, combatants are dropped in at the peak of their battle readiness with whatever they'd have on them at that time and told, "that one over there? You've gotta take them down!"
"Hang on, wait, stop," some might say after looking at the bracket. "Mister Terrific is fighting Slapstick in round one? Black Alice versus Batman? Cassandra Cain has to fight the Red Hulk? How is that fair?"
It's not fair at all — it's random seeding. These are the characters fans chose. These are computer generated match ups based solely on a random number assignment. "Random" isn't the word for this, the word you're looking for is "awesome."
Moreover, as many fighters know, the right nerve pinch, the right move, and anything can happen. Don't discount some of the apparently lopsided fights as easily as that.
It's on, and season two starts in March 2012.
