IN case you haven’t noticed, Donald Trump’s craziness is showing again. This begs the obvious question: Is Trump, okay?
Trump’s latest instance of political malpractice is lashing out online by sharing crude and misogynistic social media posts about Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and other Democrats with his radical right-wing extremist base.
One of the social media posts at issue, which was made by another user and shared by Trump, pictured Kamala and Hillary with these abhorrent words:
- “Funny how blowjobs impacted both their careers differently…”
This caused Harris to call out Trump directly, noting he’s “out of his mind” — an assertion with which most rationally-minded Americans would agree.

QAnon Conspiracy Theories
According to the Associated Press (article above):
- “Trump shared more than a dozen posts on his social media network Wednesday that call for the trial or jailing of House lawmakers who investigated the attack on the U.S. Capitol, special counsel Jack Smith and others, along with images that reference the QAnon conspiracy theory.”
- “Trump reposted a doctored image that was made to look like President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in orange prison jumpsuits, among other political figures, and a lewd post about Harris and Clinton that referenced a sex act.”
- “One post seemed to suggest former President Barack Obama should be tried in a military court.”
It’s no wonder Trump is having another titanic temper tantrum. A new Fox News poll shows Trump losing to Harris in Georgia (article below).
Kamala is also making big gains in North Carolina and is beating Trump, or virtually tied, in the other battleground states (that is, within the polling margin of error).
More Sun Belt states are now considered “toss ups” due to Harris’ surge in the polls.
Georgia and North Carolina are two conservative southern states which Trump must win if he has any chance of becoming president again.

Cognitive Health
Trump’s political behavior has always been unconventional, to put it mildly. However, are his recent words and actions indicative of a larger cognitive health issue?
It’s obvious that Trump has been deeply rattled and unsettled on the campaign trail since President Biden dropped out of the race. This has been evident by the language Trump has used in his speeches and other public remarks.
Consider some of the trash talk Trump has uttered about Kamala Harris since she became the Democratic presidential nominee:
- Kamala is “dumb as a rock” and “a low IQ person.”
- Kamala will “destroy our country” with a “crazy liberal record.”
- Kamala is “a vote for incompetence, dishonesty, weakness and failure” and “a threat to democracy.”
- Kamala would implement “a socialist takeover of the healthcare system” by “eliminating private insurance” and “bankrupt Social Security and Medicare.”
- Kamala would “rip firearms out of the people’s hands” by destroying the Second Amendment through mandatory gun confiscation.
- Kamala is “a radical crazy person on abortion” who approves “the execution of babies.”
- Kamala “launched a colossal illegal alien invasion” and is responsible for “our communities being ravaged by migrant crime” from “illegal alien rapists, bloodthirsty killers and child predators.”
- Kamala is “militantly hostile toward people of faith” and “supports the policy of letting men into women’s and girls’ locker rooms.”
- Kamala “wants to compel nurses and doctors to give chemical castration drugs to young children without parental consent.”
- Kamala “will appoint hardcore Marxists to the Supreme Court.”
And that’s just a small sampling.
Is it possible that Trump’s cognitive acuity is declining in real time due to his advanced age (78), coupled with the stress and rigor of the campaign?
Racist Dog Whistles
In addition to his latest atrocious social media posts, Trump has questioned whether Kamala Harris is really Black — yes, you read that correctly.
And he did it during a panel discussion at a national convention of Black journalists. Is this normal behavior for a presidential nominee or any serious person?
Imagine if Vice President Harris had questioned Trump’s race by claiming he decided to become White for political expediency. Obviously, such a contention would be ludicrous, as is Trump’s wild contention about the racial identity of Harris — which simply smacks of overt racism.
Trump has also launched a range of other personal attacks on Harris based on her mixed-race identity and gender.
He has belittled Kamala by calling her: “Kamabla”…
This sounds like another racist dog whistle to Trump’s White supremacist MAGA base. How do such heinous personal attacks help Trump gain the support of the undecided and independent voters he needs to win?
As Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, said of Trump and his conservative extremist running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance:
“These guys are creepy and weird as hell.”
These are just the latest examples of Trump’s erratic behavior, which goes beyond just weird
Hannibal Lecter
Let’s not forget about Trump’s previous repeated assertions that Americans would be eaten by the likes of movie character “Hannibal Lecter” due to an impending immigrant invasion if Harris is elected.
What’s that all about and why does he repeat it?
And, if being eaten by a fictitious cannibal serial killer weren’t crazy enough, Trump has also asked the crowd at campaign events whether it’s preferable to be eaten by sharks versus being electrocuted in a sinking boat?
Trump says he would rather be electrocuted than be eaten by sharks. This is simply mind-boggling stuff. Plus, many other examples abound of Trump’s more recent disturbing conduct.
Trump’s baffling behavior reinforces the worst fears of some voters who already think he’s crazy.
Final Thoughts
Is Trump just running scared or is his cognitive health actually deteriorating in full public view and in real time?
The conventional wisdom is that Trump has become increasingly agitated by the new political reality of competing against Harris instead of Biden.
But has Trump also become untethered from reality, as his poll numbers continue to decline in critical battleground states since Kamala got into the race?
If the aforementioned questions have you wondering about Trump’s mental fitness for office, then you’re not alone.
After VP Harris announced her running mate, Trump issued a statement saying, “TIM WALZ WILL UNLEASH HELL ON EARTH!” (all caps verbatim)
Does this sound like a stable person?
Asking aloud whether Trump is okay would be a smart strategy for the Harris-Walz campaign in response to the former president’s continued outrageous and juvenile behavior.
Is Donald, okay?
Let’s face it, Trump has been through a lot this year. And if he loses the election, then he will likely face three more criminal trials based on dozens of charges per indictments.
If a jury issued guilty verdicts on just a few of those charges, it might put Trump in jail for a long time — and he’s nearly 80 years-old already.
This leads back to wondering aloud whether Trump is, okay?
It’s a question Kamala Harris and Tim Walz should also be asking the public.
