Be genuine and truthful. Acknowledge what it is that has made him feel hurt. Treat them how we would want them to treat us. When apologizing, don’t say “I’m sorry, BUT…”
Nothing is worse when we receive an apology for something and the same thing happens over and over. Change the behavior that brought you to the point of the disagreement.
