The March established me more into my loving approach to the world, my spirituality and my political stance. I am more certain and more clear about what I believe and such clarity, I have recently realized, is a source of power and clear action. It is like the millions of marchers and their supporters are a wave that I, and each of us now, are riding. This is Empowered Love, love empowered through a loving and supportive community.
The March in Atlanta, and as has been reported, all of the Women’s Marches, were Utopian. In other words, if our society functioned like that, if all of our people were always like those in the marches, our society would be a spiritual utopian like the ideal societies portrayed in cinema. It was overall a loving and joyous occasion with what may be described as elevated consciousness.
Like such a Utopia, which accepts all aspects of our humanity, any expressions of discontent briefly occurred in chants regarding what was wanted etc … from which the love and joy were quickly returned to. Love triumphed in all respects!
So, what does it mean that three million people in the U.S. and perhaps several million people around the world participated in these marches? And remember, there were many others who wanted to.
First, having so many people participate in this type of loving energy reflects that consciousness has evolved to a point that there are enough awake people who can share in this way. Yes, this is evidence that consciousness is evolving into a more loving state and higher vibration of love and equality.
Second, the role of the feminine is becoming more and more empowered and lived out. Women led the day, and women deserve the credit for what occurred. That said, as a man dedicated to working on men’s issues, there were around 30-40% men and boys at the marches. This too reflects the evolution of consciousness that is inclusive, i.e., androgeny, each individual expressing characteristics of both genders. Men are no longer afraid to be loving and supportive in a community. Again, the role of the feminine is becoming more empowered.
Though there are critics about the usefulness of such marches, I believe they are speaking from a place of fear and a lack of understanding. In fact, the clarity that emerges on a personal level, the riding of the wave of millions of loving and joyous people, by millions of people, together, will bring the empowerment that love needs to make clear changes in the world. To be empowered and emboldened, without undue self-sacrifice or backing down and away from a challenge. We, in the millions, will no longer allow that which is not OK, not loving, to occur.
That is Love Empowered.
