Amy Ferris is an author, screenwriter, playwright and editor. Her bestselling memoir, Marrying George Clooney: Confessions From A Midlife Crisis (Seal Press, 2011) is Off-Broadway bound, opening March 1st (2102) at CAP21 Theater Company in New York City. She wrote (films), Mr. Wonderful (Anthony Minghella, Director) and Funny Valentines (Julie Dash, Director). Her essays have appeared in numerous anthologies, He's Said What?, The Drinking Diaries, The Buddha Next Door and Exit Laughing to name a few. She is currently co-editing a new Anthology, Dancing At The Shame Prom (Seal Press, Fall, 2012).

Amy is on the Board of Directors of Peters Valley Craft, Education and Arts Center, the Advisory Board of The Women's Media Center (founded by Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, and Robin Morgan) and on the faculty of The San Miguel de Allende Writers Literary Festival.
Amy dropped out of High School when she was 15 1/2, and never looked back. Well, maybe once or twice. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Ken.
