‘A Complete Unknown’ is available now on Digital
I enjoy watching biographical films sometimes. When they are done well they can tell the thrilling true story of a famous person. Sadly when they instead try to tell the story in a different way this can end up being a movie that misses all the expectations viewers had for it. When I heard A Complete Unknown was coming out on Digital I hoped I might get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a digital copy of this movie and here is what I thought of it.

He forges intimate relationships with music icons of Greenwich Village on his meteoric rise, culminating in a groundbreaking and controversial performance that reverberates worldwide.

This was a good film, but I can’t say it was amazing either. The story it tells is good, and Timothée Chalamet does a wonderful job as Bob Dylan. Edward Norton also did a great job with his character and really helped move this story along. The ending wasn’t anywhere near as strong as I hoped it would be, and the story loses steam towards the final act. Yet as this movie comes to a close, it is clear that Folk music will never be the same. ‘The Story’ looked into how the idea for this movie came to be and shows all the research that was done to make sure everything fit the time period of this story. ‘The Supporting Cast’ had some of the cast talking about their characters and the work they put in to do them justice.
