Follow your passion.” Sounds magical, right? Like once you find that one perfect thing, life will finally click into place. But here’s the cold truth: most people don’t wake up one day magically knowing what they were “born to do.”
And waiting around for passion to strike? That’s the fastest route to confusion, self-doubt, and a lot of wasted time.
Passion isn’t something you find. It’s something you build. It grows through action, not overthinking. What you need to chase isn’t some grand, all-consuming purpose. You need to chase curiosity.
Curiosity doesn’t ask for a life plan. It just whispers, “Try this.” And when you follow those small nudges — reading a book, learning a new skill, starting a side project — you begin to create momentum. That momentum builds competence, and competence creates confidence. And guess what? Passion often shows up when you’re too busy doing to go looking for it.
