
Jeremy Adams, known for his prolific contributions to the entertainment industry, including acclaimed works in films, television series, and comics, has secured a multi-year contract with DC Comics.

A native of Prescott, Arizona, and currently residing in Los Angeles, Adams has been a valuable asset to DC’s publishing plans. This year, he is writing several titles for the publisher, including a new ongoing series for Aquaman and a Green Lantern series that highlights the iconic Lantern Hal Jordan. Additionally, Adams is co-writing DC’s recently launched Green Lantern Corps series with Morgan Hampton. This series focuses on the other members of the intergalactic police force patrolling the DC universe and safeguarding it from evil forces.
The multi-year deal with DC follows Adams’ incredibly successful 35-issue run as writer on The Flash, his current trio of popular series, and key DC publishing events such as the 2023 Dark Crisis and the 2024 Absolute Power.

Adams has been a prominent figure in Warner Bros. Animation’s collaborations with DC Comics. He has written three significant films in the illustrious history of DC Universe animated movies: Batman: Soul of the Dragon, Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, and one of the vignettes in Justice Society: World War II. Additionally, he penned the animated short DC Showcase: Blue Beetle. Notably, the 2021 hit Batman: Soul of the Dragon holds a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Adams has had diverse writing credits. He worked as a story editor on the final season of Supernatural and wrote three episodes of the series, including a crossover episode titled “Scoobynatural,” where the Winchester Brothers team up with Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Freddie.
Adams has also made significant contributions to blockbuster feature films. He co-wrote the hit Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans and scripted all four critically acclaimed and commercially successful Mortal Kombat Legends movies. Furthermore, he wrote two full-length Scooby-Doo films and episodes of various animated series, including Young Justice, Justice League Action, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, Legend Quest, and Thunderbirds Are Go.

In addition to these projects, Adams has been Warner Bros. Discovery’s go-to screenwriter for LEGO properties. He has written a wide range of LEGO-related content, including the LEGO Scooby-Doo stop-motion shorts, two LEGO Monkie Kid films (for which he also served as producer), a pair of LEGO Jurassic World movies, and the animated short LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling. Adams has also written six entries in the LEGO/DC Super Heroes catalog and served as a producer on the international hit television series Monkie Kid.
