‘American Assassin’ There is so much wrong with this movie
I get to see a fair amount of action films each year. Only a few of them turn out being any good. When I heard about American Assassin, I had hopes it would be at least okay. It had a good cast and seemed to tell a different kind of story. I was able to see it early and here is what I thought of it.

When Cold War veteran Stan Hurley takes CIA black ops recruit Mitch Rapp under his wing, they receive an assignment to investigate a wave of random attacks on both military and civilian targets. After discovering a pattern of violence, Hurley and Rapp join forces with a lethal Turkish agent to stop a mysterious operative who wants to start a global war.

American Assassin gets 1/10. I really didn’t like this movie. It had a strange beginning, and only got worse from there. I was bored for much of it, and the film seemed to drag on to me. The plot was messy and had a hard time telling any kind of good story. The cast did their best, but even they couldn’t do much to help this movie.
