A great tale gets told in ‘Mirrorverse Belle’
Mirrorverse Pure of Heart was a wonderful book. Snow White realized something was off right away, and that a great evil was threatening her world. Some heroes showed up to help, and taking down this threat was going to be tough. Along the way Snow learned new things about herself, and that she was stronger than she thought she was. Once this tale came to a close, life for Snow was never going to be the same. When I heard about Mirrorverse Belle I was looking forward to reading it. I was able to get a review copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Mirrorverse Belle here:
Ever since Belle’s fateful meeting with a dying enchantress, life in her quiet village hasn’t been the same—the villagers never seem to rest, shadows lurk behind the newly erected walls, and there are whispers that deep in the woods, people are turning into monsters…
Only Belle, gifted with the last of the enchantress’s magic, has the power to protect her father and her village from the strange, twisted influence of the woods. But as the paranoid villagers turn on one another and a mysterious call for help appears just outside the walls, Belle must journey to the source of the cursed magic—and find those who are seeking to use it for themselves—before her world is overrun with horrors and the true beast of the woods is revealed.
I had a blast reading this graphic novel. Right away things took a strange turn, and ended up having dire consequences. Belle knew she was tasked with doing something, but what she didn’t know. To get answers she would have to venture to a mysterious place, and accept help from some unlikely allies. Just when all seemed lost, we saw someone make a tough decision. As this story came to a close, we saw Belle get recruited to join a team tasked with defeating a powerful threat.
Mirrorverse Belle is out now. You can order this graphic novel on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble.
