‘Black Adam’ is out now on Blu-Ray
I have enjoyed some of the recent DC films. Joker was amazing and took audiences on a crazy ride. Suicide Squad had these villains take on a dangerous mission to stop something from getting out. Zack Snyder’s Justice League was wonderful and was worth the wait to finally see it. When I heard Black Adam was coming out on Blu-Ray I hoped I might get to watch it. I was able to get a review copy of this movie and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for Black Adam here:
In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend. Now released, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.
Overall this was an okay film. There is plenty of action and some good visual effects. Yet the story itself isn’t that great and drags on more than once. The ending was not awful but it should have ended on a stronger note. ‘The History of Black Adam’ had the cast and crew talking about how this character has changed over the years. ‘Kahndaq: Designing a Nation’ revealed all the work that was put in to bring this city to life. ‘Costumes Make the Hero’ had the crew showing the work they put in making these amazing looking costumes for the characters.
Black Adam is available now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD. You can follow this movie on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
