John Green’s fantastic book, The Fault in Our Stars, is being made into a movie. Hopefully it can live up to the reputation of the original.

John Green is by far one of my favorite authors; under his belt are titles such as; Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, and Will Grayson, Will Grayson, but The Fault in Our Stars is easily my favorite of his works. As luck would have it, The Fault in Our Stars is going to be made into a movie, which means I get to share it here!
If you haven’t read it, read it. If you know enough about and think it is just some teen fiction book, you are way off. It artfully deals with some tough topics in unorthodox ways like love, appreciation for life, and death. These are all things that can be incredible difficult for men to talk about, and this book brings them up in ways that are easily accessible.
Sure it might center on a girl and boy in the throes of young love, but the truths that are spoken in its pages are just as applicable if you are old, young, male, or female. The story is powerful and the characters beautifully crafted. Within its pages are some of the best quotes I have ever read.
I only hope that all this wonder can find its way off the pages and onto the silver screen. The Fault in Our Stars is set to release on June 6th, 2014.
