A routine mission goes awry on ‘Strange Energies’
There a good amount of Star Trek shows out there these days. Some continue the adventures of a beloved captain, while others tell new stories fans have never heard before. Yet none of these shows are like Star Trek: Lower Decks. It is an animated show that takes viewers on some pretty wild adventures. I wasn’t that surprised when this hilarious show got a season 2. I was able to get a screener for ‘Strange Energies’ and here is what I thought of it.

A routine mission ends up going sideways on ‘Strange Energies’. Mariner decides to clean up a few of the walls on a planet and it ends up having dire consequences. Commander Ransom gets blasted by some mysterious energy and it causes him to get some strange powers. The captain needs to come up with a solution fast before Ransom destroys the whole ship. While this is going on Tendi fears something is wrong with Rutherford and goes to extremes to try and make him better. Mariner decides to do something drastic to help out Commander Ransom and it ends up working. As this episode comes to a close these three friends wonder how Boimler is doing at his new assignment.
