A gripping tale gets told in ‘Werewolf by Night’
I have enjoyed most of the Marvel films lately. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness told a darker story and took audiences on a crazy adventure. Thor: Love and Thunder had this superhero facing their toughest foe yet as an old flame returned in an unexpected way. When I heard about Werewolf by Night I couldn’t wait to check it out. I was able to get a screener for this special and here is my thoughts on it.

On a dark and somber night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic—a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster.

I had a blast watching this tale unfold. At first it just looks like a bunch of hunters come together to take down a monster and win a powerful relic. Yet one of them aren’t who they appear to be and are there for an entirely different reason. When the night takes an unexpected turn someone finds themself in a precarious situation. As this special comes to a close life for two people will never be the same.
