‘Superman’ Is out now on 4K Ultra HD
I have watched most of the Superman movies, and found them to be pretty good. The stories they told were thrilling and took viewers of all ages on some wild journeys. When news came out about a new film, like many I wasn’t sure if it would be good or not. Instead it ended up doing quite well in theaters and many people I talked to said they enjoyed it. A while ago it was announced this film was being released on Blu-Ray and I hoped I might get the chance to finally watch it. I was able to get a review copy of this movie and here is my thoughts on it.

When Superman is drawn into conflicts both abroad and at home, his actions to protect humankind are questioned, and his vulnerability allows tech billionaire and master deceiver Lex Luthor to leverage the opportunity to get Superman out of the way for good. Will the Daily Planet’s intrepid reporter Lois Lane, together with the aid of Metropolis’s other metahumans and Superman’s own four-legged companion, Krypto, be able to help Superman before Luthor can completely destroy him?

This was a pretty good movie. There was action, drama, suspense and a few nice twists and turns as the plot moved along. The story was a thrilling one and it was a lot of fun watching it unfold before your eyes. Once this tale comes to a close it is clear to see the adventures are far from over. ‘Lex Luthor: The Mind of a Master Villain’ had the cast and crew talk a bit about this character and how much fun they had bringing them to life for this film. ‘Paws to Pixels: Krypto is Born’ showed James Gunn talking a bit about the motivation for the character and the many different ways this character was brought to life in this movie. ‘The Justice Gang’ reveals the process of making some of the costumes as well as the way the actors chose to portray their character and a few of the challenges they faced. There is also a pretty humorous Gag Reel.
