Someone tries to harm Danny in ‘Casey Patrol’
Last time on Doom Patrol, Rita was unsure where she fit in the team anymore. We she heard about a festival of her films it sounded like exactly what she needed. Things took a weird turn almost immediately and the team showed up to try and rescue her. What followed was a peculiar mission that ended after Rita made a tough decision. Now we see a powerful foe try to harm Danny in ‘Casey Patrol’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

When the safety of Danny – and everyone housed within – is compromised, Dorothy is forced to step up… with some unexpected help.

We see Dorothy telling a story of one of her favorite comic book heroes at the start of this episode. After it is finished she goes to her room, and it is clear something is bothering her. A friend wants to talk with her, and while they are doing this something awful happens to everyone inside Danny. Next we see a hero show up, one who agrees to help stop a powerful foe. Once this hero confronts them things end up not going the way Dorothy expected them to. It seems to stop this foe Dorothy will have to give them something that means a lot to her. As this episode comes to a close we see Dorothy leave Danny with a new friend.
