Oswald is a character for many decades people didn’t know much about. Walt Disney drew them before Mickey Mouse, but it was sold off and for a long-time people didn’t see the cartoons this character starred in. Eventually Disney got the rights back, and I have been lucky to watch a few of them. At D23 Expo a brand-new show was announced and here are my thoughts on it.

You can read the premise for this show here:
When an earthquake releases Walt Disney’s creation, Oswald, who has been hidden away since the 1920s, a middle school boy and his friends try to help the cartoon rabbit navigate his way through the modern world.
This sounds like it could be a wonderful show. A character long forgotten had been released, and they will need help figuring out this huge world. Thankfully they won’t have to explore it alone, and the animation looks absolutely amazing. Fans of this character will want to watch this show when it comes out.
Oswald premieres February 17, 2027 exclusively on Disney Plus.
