A great tale is told in ‘What If…Captain Carter Were the First Avenger’
All of the Marvel shows on Disney Plus have been great so far. WandaVision took viewers of all ages on a wild ride. Falcon and the Winter Soldier told the next chapter in the lives of two heroes. Loki was another show that changed the MCU forever and was a blast to watch unfold. On What…If? we get to see how many well known stories end up going in exciting new directions. I was able to get a screener for ‘What If…Captain Carter Were the First Avenger’ and here is what I thought of it.

I had an absolute blast watching this episode. At first it looks to be a story fans are all too familiar with. Then a moment happens that changes the direction things will go in. We see someone else take on an important mantle, while someone else takes on another role entirely. War World 2 is still raging on, and it is up to these heroes to bring it to an end. When a vile villain does something drastic, it causes a hero to make a tough choice. As this story comes to a close the life of one hero will never be the same.
