A kid makes a very bold choice in ‘Incredible Elijah’
Last time on the Marvel’s Hero Project, we learned all about Jordan. She was a person who refused to let her limb difference hold her back in life. Over time she wanted to find ways to help out others like her. As this episode came to a close she was invited to join an elite group. Now we get to learn about another amazing kid in ‘Incredible Elijah’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and this is what I thought of it.

Elijah’s extraordinary sympathy is his superpower. Speaking out to prevent child abuse, he has galvanized children, adults and those in public service to join him in his rallying cry to protect the most vulnerable members of society. Elijah is already a hero in his community, and now, in recognition of his commitment to helping children, Marvel is making him a superhero.

This was a really inspiring episode. When Elijah learns about something that happened to a classmate, he realizes something needs to be done. He decides to speak out against this issue, and try to help other kids find their voice. His energy is amazing, and shows if you care about an issue enough, people will get behind you. As this episode comes to a close he becomes another person to join this elite group.
