‘Lyle Lyle Crocodile’ is out now on Blu-Ray
I enjoy a musical comedy every now and again. When done right they can take me on some pretty amazing adventures. When I heard about Lyle Lyle Crocodile I hoped I might get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Lyle Lyle Crocodile here:
When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle – a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music – living in the attic of his new home. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primm’s must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.
Overall this was a pretty good movie. The songs are wonderful and really help bring plenty of scenes to vivid life. We see this family change and grow as they get to know this unique crocodile. ‘Croc and Roll: Working With Lyle’ has the cast and crew talk about what it was like working with this amazing character. ‘Take a Look at Us Now: The Cast’ showed the cast talking about why they wanted to be a part of this film and how much fun they had making it. There is also a pretty funny blooper reel.
Lyle Lyle Crocodile is out now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD. You can follow this movie on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
