The ‘Midnight Texas’ Pilot is a strong start for this show
At Wondercon this year they had all kinds of amazing panels. One of them was all about Midnight Texas. I was able to see the pilot early, and it was pretty awesome. Here is what I thought of the pilot of this new show.
You can read the premise of Midnight Texas here:
Welcome to a place where being normal is really quite strange. From Niels Arden Oplev, the visionary director of “Mr. Robot,” and based on the hit book series from author Charlaine Harris (“True Blood”), comes a journey into a remote Texas town where no one is who they seem. From vampires and witches to psychics and hit men, Midnight is a mysterious safe haven for those who are different. As the town members fight off outside pressures from rowdy biker gangs, ever-suspicious cops and their own dangerous pasts, they band together and form a strong and unlikely family.
I was really impressed by this Midnight Texas pilot. It does an amazing job bringing this world to the small screen. It has a great cast and some intriguing characters. It ends leaving viewers with more questions then answers, and that is a good thing. If you are looking for a good supernatural drama, then this is a show you should check out.
