Mini golf gets played in a whole new way in ‘Putt up or Shut up’
I have played a lot of mini golf in my life. I can’t say I am a professional by any means, but I do enjoy it. Where I live there are a few mini golf places, and some are harder than others. When I heard about Holey Moley I was hoping I would get to check it out. This show begins with a bang in ‘Putt up or Shut up’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Holey Moley here:
It’s mini-golf like you’ve never seen it before. Every week, the first-of-its-kind mini-golf competition series with Rob Riggle, Joe Tessitore, Jeannie Mai and resident golf pro Stephen Curry features 12 mini-golfers facing off in a series of head-to-head, sudden-death matchups. Winners will move on to round two and from there, only three will make it to the final hole – the daunting Mt. Holey Moley. At the end of every episode, one winner will be crowned and walk away with the $25,000 prize, “The Golden Putter” trophy and coveted “Holey Moley” plaid jacket. In the series premiere, a special GRAMMY® Award-winning celebrity guest makes an appearance on The Distractor hole in an attempt to distract the putters and break their focus.
‘Putt up or Shut up’ was a strong start for Holey Moley. It was wacky, unexpected things happened, and each course proved harder than the one before it. Yet these people rose to the challenge, no matter how daunting they were sometimes. As this episode came to a close, only 3 got to the finals, and the winner will surprise you. If you are a fan of mini golf than Holey Moley is a show you will want to watch.
