Jane gets a shocking performance review in ‘Rolling Into the Future’
Last time on The Bold Type, Kat ran into an old friend. She wanted to help them get a job, but this ended up being harder than she thought. Meanwhile Sutton learns Richard is coming back home and she hopes to get a chance to talk to him. Jane and Jacqueline took an issue with her latest story head on and learned the truth about what happened. As this episode came to a close Jane made a big decision. Now Jane gets a performance review that takes her by surprise in ‘Rolling Into the Future’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is my thoughts on it.

Jane faces unexpected performance reviews that shake her confidence in The Failing Feminist. Sutton’s attempts to move on from her divorce are thwarted by other’s opinions, and Kat reunites with Adena, who has a secret.

Sutton moves back in with Jane and Kat on ‘Rolling Into the Future’. A closet at the apartment finally gets opened, and these friends play a game to find out who gets this little space. Jane is facing her first performance reviews at work, and one takes her by surprise. She is also ready to make a new relationship public, but a talk with one of her writers makes her second guess the decision. Kat sees Adena for the first time in a good while, and asks her to help her friend out. While Kat talks to Adena she notices something is different about her. Sutton meanwhile is ready to move on from a big life event but people at work aren’t making it easy for her. As this episode comes to a close something happens that Jane never saw coming.
