Redbird wants to help on a mission in ‘Sidekicked to the Curb’
Last time on Batwheels, we met a brand new team. When someone stole something from the batcave, this team was brought to life to stop them. Each vehicle brought something to this team, and had the same goals in mind. When a bunch of villain vehicles were brought to life, this team stepped up to stop them. As this episode came to a close, we saw some of these vehicles get the Bat family out of a sticky situation. Now Redbird wants to help on a mission in ‘Sidekicked to the Curb’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the premise for ‘Sidekicked to the Curb’ here:
When Bam is sent out to take on Prank, Redbird asks to join the fight, but Bam insists he hang back- that Van’s too dangerous! Redbird secretly tags along, but his presence hurts more than it helps. Bam is upset, but after Redbird bails him out of a few tight spots, Bam figures it’s worth a shot working together.
We see Redbird and Bam working on a maneuver in the Bat cave at the start of this episode. It goes off without a hitch, and then the team receives a call to help stop a bank robbery. Bam takes the call, but Redbird wants to join him. Bam refuses and says the mission will be far too dangerous for him. Redbird shows up anyway but ends up only making things worse. Yet after Bam finds themselves in a tight spot, Redbird helps them get out of it. After this they work together to take Prank down in a way this van didn’t see coming. As this episode comes to a close Bam makes a big decision.
Batwheels ‘Sidekicked to the Curb’ is available now on HBO Max.
