Some new emotions arrive in ‘Inside Out 2’
I really liked Inside Out. It was a clever movie that took audiences on a wild adventure through the mind of Riley. We saw their life going through some changes, and not all of them were good. Yet as this story came to a close, a great lesson was learned and things in Riley’s mind were changed forever. When I heard about Inside Out 2 I couldn’t wait to see it. I was able to attend a screening of this sequel and here is my thoughts on it.

You can read the plot for Inside Out 2 here:
This film returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.

Inside Out 2 gets 8.5 out of 10. Although not as strong as the first movie, this was still a pretty good sequel. There is plenty of comedic moments mixed in with some serious scenes too. The new emotions try and take over, while Joy and the old emotions attempt to find a way back to headquarters. Along the way they make a few friends and show us new parts of the mind of Riley. Once this film comes to a close, her mind will never be the same.
