‘Spider-Man Homecoming’ Breathes new life into this series
I am kind of a Spider-Man fan. I have watched all of the films, and loved the 90’s cartoon series growing up. Some of these movies have been amazing, but there have been some bad ones too. So when I heard they were introducing a new Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, I was not sure this was a good idea. After seeing him in action though, my mood changed quickly. Naturally I couldn’t wait to see Spider-Man Homecoming. I was able to see it early and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for Spider-Man Homecoming here:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

I thoroughly enjoyed Spider-Man Homecoming. It leaves out the origin story, which was a good idea. There is plenty of action, clever comedy and a some strong drama. Micheal Keaton is amazing as The Vulture. He has a good reason for becoming a bad guy, and there are moments when the audience almost wants to feel sorry for him. It is the best Spider-Man movie in a long time, and I think fans will really like it. If you want to learn more about Spider-Man Homecoming click on this website.

Spider-Man Homecoming gets 8/10. It is not the best superhero movie I have ever seen, but it was still quite good. The new characters are a welcome addition to the series, and the Stan Lee cameo is freaking hilarious. There are some minor flaws here and there, but nothing that hurt this movie too much in my eyes. If you are a fan of this superhero then this is a movie you will want to see.
