Join these friends on another adventure in ‘Face the Music’
I was very impressed with Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. For its time, it was unlike any other comedy that had come out. This movie had a stellar cast, a killer soundtrack and told a great story. Although Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey wasn’t as good as the first film, I still enjoy watching it to this day. When I heard about Bill and Ted Face the Music, I had some doubts about it. I was able to get a screener for this sequel and here is my thoughts on it.

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

This was an okay movie, but I can’t say I loved it. The story drags on more than once, and really wasn’t that interesting. The plot had some good moments, but these were few and far between. For the most part, this sequel felt entirely unnecessary to me. The ending redeems this film a bit, but not enough for me to want to watch it again. Some people may enjoy this movie, but others will want to just avoid it altogether.
