Fans were taken on a wild journey watching ‘Strange New Spectacle’
Since I was a teenager, I have been a Star Trek fan. I have watched most of the movies and TV shows. I loved Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek Picard. I haven’t had a chance to check out Star Trek: Strange New Worlds but have heard good things about it. At San Diego Comic Con fans got to see a few performances of Strange New Spectacle and here are my thoughts on it.

Downtown San Diego, near the Convention Center, transformed into a living stage as fans journeyed through five immersive, “strange new worlds” inspired by this season’s genre-bending episodes: a noir murder mystery, a zombie horror, a 60s retro mission, a Vulcan wedding, and plenty of sci-fi mayhem. This bold, live performances – created with JFI Productions – was a chance for fans to step into the story.

This truly was an out of this world performance. Each one ran about 15 minutes, but so much happened during that time. Fans got to see many of the most wild moments from season 3 of this show, and how this crew handled some dangerous situations. Along the way we saw the performers have just an absolute wonderful time helping bring this season to vivid life. Once this performance came to a close, it all seemed like a normal day for this exemplary crew. For the last two performances of the day, much of the cast got to check this performance out and they all seemed mesmerized by it. You can watch part of the performance here.
