A good story gets told in ‘Thunderboom’
I have read a good amount of graphic novels lately. No two are alike and each one has taken me on an exciting adventure. When I heard about Thunderboom I was hoping it would be a fun read. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Thunderboom here:
An action-packed superhero story about the power of imagination. In this exciting graphic novel, Logan is thrilled when his parents tell him they’re all taking the train to see the Santa Claus parade. But Logan isn’t like most 11-year-olds – he can’t speak, and he mostly lives in his head. On this adventure, Logan must face some of his greatest fears: masks, dogs and the unknown. When he’s separated from his parents at the parade, Logan goes where he’s the bravest version of himself – his imagination. Transforming into superhero ThunderBoom, Logan is determined to stomp his way through any challenges.
This was a pretty good graphic novel. We meet a boy who goes on tons of adventures thanks to their vivid imagination. When he gets separated from his parents, he uses his imagination to become a superhero and take some powerful foes down while trying to find them. As this graphic novel comes to a close this boy ends up doing something pretty amazing.
Thunderboom is out now. You can order this graphic novel at Barnes and Noble and on Bookshop.
