Dick Newbert has been a political and social commentator for more than three decades and sponsors/underwrites an annual scholarship contest for Bucks County high school seniors who are challenged to write an essay answering a controversial subject requiring then to demonstrate critical thinking and both a knowledge and understanding of American History, the Constitution and Civics. He is a graduate of Tufts University, former Naval Reserve Officer and Vietnam veteran, and retired entrepreneur with an extensive business background. Dick lives with his wife in Langhorne, PA.
